Project 3: A Sense of Place:
It's hard to really define what the objects in the photo are
The darkness of it makes it hard to tell whether its a place or an object
It appears earthly because of the roughness and rubble of whatever the light is hitting
Without knowing anything about the photo, I can only guess it's perhaps a doorway of some kind because of the light gently illuminating what might be a frame on the left side.
The absence of anything familiar makes my brain search for details in the image that might help me understand what i'm looking at.
Im naturally drawn to anything that the light hits, and the shapes and patterns that might explain what the objects are.
